Flavor: Vegetal, Grassy Notes, Smooth/Sweet Finish
Kabusecha, covered tea, is a type of Japanese Sencha that is somewhat of a mid-point between Sencha and Gyokuro. Kabusecha is grown similarly to Sencha tea leaves, however it is shaded like Gyokuro but for only 12 days. Our Kabusecha offers the refreshing flavor of Sencha with some of the sweet, umami flavor of a Gyokuro. The dry leaf is glossy and deep green in color with a highly fragrant and sweet aroma. Once infused, our Kabusecha tea has a less grassy, more vegetal, sweet and smooth finish with a full mouth feel.
Our teas are listed in 1oz portions. Simply add multiples to your cart for your desired number of ounces.
